to renew my commitment to work with Christian compassion
for the well-being of all my neighbors.
Prayer: Dear Father, help us always remember your
command to love our neighbors as ourselves. Continue to fill
us with compassion for the least among us. As Jesus taught
us, we pray, “Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom
come. Give us each our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we
also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into
temptation (Luke 11: 2-4, niv). Amen.
