PROMISES MADE AND KEPT
Read Hebrews 6: 10-20
We have this hope as an anchor for
the soul, firm and secure.
A friend once gave me an outdoor house ornament made
of faceted glass balls that rotate in the wind. I hung it outside.

the many promises that God has made and kept: God promised Abraham that his descendants would be as numerous

people of Israel that they would return from exile, and they
did. Each promise required a faithful response.
Jesus said, “Seek first [God’s] kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you” (Matt. 6: 33). In

The Bible says that those
who belong to God through
Jesus Christ will be with him
in heaven forever. I stake
my life on the truth of this
promise as well. And, based
on God’s faithfulness, I know that I will not be disappointed.
Prayer: Dear God, thank you for being faithful in caring for
us — no matter what. Amen.
